  • Strategic Program Assessment
  • Strategic Program Assessment (SPA) is MSU’s process for reviewing graduate programs, including graduate certificates. Engaging in the SPA process gives units a chance to take a step back and think broadly about its programs, where they are working, and where they can be improved.

  • Annual Evaluation Forms
  • These are suggested templates for graduate students and faculty to use in the required written annual evaluation process. University Graduate Council designed these for your use. Please check with your own graduate programs for the specific form for you to use.

For more information about the required written annual evaluation of each graduate student, please see Graduate Student Rights and Responsibilities: 2.4.8.

    Forms:

    • Progress Reports for Doctoral Students
    • Progress Report for Master’s Plan A
    • Progress Report for Master’s Plan B
  • Out-of-State Tuition Waiver for External Fellowships, Traineeships, and Internships
  • In a limited number of cases, non-resident doctoral students not supported by GAs may be eligible to be classified at MSU’s in-state tuition rate via out-of-state tuition waivers from the Graduate School. These may be requested for fellowships, traineeships and internships that fall under the specific criteria.

  • Prospective Doctoral Student Recruitment & Retention Program
  • The Prospective Doctoral Student Recruitment and Retention Program (PDSRRP) helps doctoral programs at MSU recruit, retain, and support a diverse group of traditionally underrepresented domestic doctoral students who will contribute in meaningful ways to the intellectual, geographical, racial, and ethnic diversity of the future professoriate and professional fields.

Through this program, the Graduate School offers a seed-grant program and partnering opportunities for doctoral programs that develop a plan for the sustained recruitment, professional development, and graduation of a diverse doctoral cohort.

  • eGradFel
