Communicating Your Professional and Scholarly Self: An #ITeachMSU Series (Part One)

Friday, March 16, 2018 - 3:00pm to 4:30pm
110 Chittenden Hall

How do you tell the story of yourself without resorting to reading your CV or resume? Narrative is one tool. This interactive workshop introduces you to the process of reflecting and translating your scholarly self to others. Together, we will explore the differences between personal and scholarly narratives and work to identify key components that can be included in your own narrative.

This is Part One of a three-part series. In signing up for this series you are signing up to participate in all parts (March 16, March 23, March 30). You do not need to prepare anything for this workshop. For information on the topics covered in the rest of the series, please see the full Graduate School calendar of workshops.
