University Scholarships & Fellowships Development Office
The Development Office of University Scholarships & Fellowships works to raise funding and awareness for student financial support through University-wide undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. These awards include those that are not limited by major or college affiliation, as well as certain geographic-based awards, such as those sponsored by our generous national alumni clubs.
The staff of the office work along with their colleagues in University Advancement to raise funding in conjunction with the goals of the general University and the individual college units. In addition, the office staff members work in consultation with an advisory committee including representatives of the various units that are actively affected by a University-wide effort of this sort. The committee is comprised of: June Youatt, Senior Associate Provost; Karen Klomparens, Dean and Associate Provost for Graduate Education; Douglas Estry, Dean and Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education; Linda Stanford, Associate Provost for Academic Services; Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore, Dean of the Honors College; Rick Shipman, Director of the Office of Financial Aid; James Cotter, Director of the Office of Admissions & Scholarships.
