Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experience (Mid-SURE) - Volunteers are needed to help provide feedback
Please join us on Wednesday, July 24, at the MSU Breslin Center from 1:00-5:00pm for the Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experience (Mid-SURE). This annual symposium will feature research presentations and posters from more than 250 undergraduates.
Volunteers are needed to help provide feedback for students’ posters. Faculty, post-docs, and graduate students - if you are interested in providing feedback to these students, please fill out this brief online form: http://bit.ly/14DIYtx Evaluators will be assigned up 5-7 posters to review. It takes an hour to 75 minutes to provide feedback.
This is an excellent opportunity to identify highly qualified candidates for your graduate programs. The students presenting at Mid-SURE come from 80 different institutions; while many have been mentored by MSU faculty this summer, about 15 other regional research programs are also sending students to present their work at Mid-SURE. All of these students have research experience and are highly motivated to pursue graduate studies.
Mid-SURE is free and open to the public, and will include a graduate school recruiting fair featuring both MSU programs and a variety of other institutions.
