Graduate Specialization in Environmental and Resource Economics
MSU offers a degree certification in Environmental and Resource Economics through the interdepartmental Graduate Specialization. The certification requirements are fulfilled while enrolled in the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program of one of the six participating departments. A graduate student who completes the requirements may request a formal degree certification in Environmental and Resource Economics.

Requirements
  1. Complete the course requirements for the specialization, and;
  2. Include one member of the core faculty on the student's advisory committee.

A comprehensive examination is also required for certification of the Ph.D. degree, but not for an M.Sc. degree.
