Small grants for travel and research enhancement are available to enrolled graduate students. Departments offer financial assistance and review applicants as they apply. The core faculty may have teaching or research positions that are open to students. Computer skills, good writing abilities, and statistical analysis are always needed in research projects. An interest in the specific project research area is desirable. You may contact faculty directly by e-mail about the positions that they may have available. It is a good idea to enclose a copy of your resume and a description of your study interests.
