Paper Applications
Michigan State University encourages the use of the online application through the Office of Admissions.
If you are unable to access the online application, please contact The Graduate School via email gradschool@grd.msu.edu to check on the availability of a paper application.
Make sure you send your application, payment, and all supporting documentation to the department to which you are applying. There is a list of departments and programs (with major codes and contact information) on our website at: http://grad.msu.edu/departments/

Recommendation for Admission (Letter of Recommendation)
Coming mid Fall Semester 2011! Letters of recommendation will soon be able to be uploaded and submitted on the Embark online website. If not submitted electronically, letters of recommendation must be signed and sealed in envelopes and sent to the department/program to which the applicant is applying. If your department uses a different letter of recommendation form, please use that one.
